B85 audio Germanium overdrive je podlahový efekt vycházející ze zapojení Tube Screamer 808 s přidaným dvoupásmovým ekvalizérem a párem germaniových diod. Overdrive má klasické ovládání Level pro nastavení hlasitosti, Bass pro nastavení nízkých tónů (+/- 15 dB při 85 Hz), Treble pro nastavení vysokých tónů (+/- 15 dB při 8800 Hz) a Drive pro nastavení úrovně zkreslení. Pro stavbu overdriveru byly použity ty nejkvalitnější součástky jako potenciometry od Alpha-Pots, jack konektory značky Neutrik či nožní spínač GØRVA design s životností 30 000 sepnutí. Overdrive se dá napájet 9V baterií nebo adaptérem 9 až 12 V DC, pro požití s baskytarou doporučuji napájet 12V. Celý efekt je ručně vyroben a to se týká i desky plošných spojů.
Germanium overdrive je vhodný jak pro kytaru tak i baskytaru.
Deluxe verze má oproti klasickému B85 audio Germanium Overdrive vylepšený vzhled a lepší operační zesilovač (čip) který se nachází na desce plošného spoje.

B85 audio Germanium overdrive is a floor effect based on the connection of the Tube Screamer 808 with an added two-band equalizer and a pair of germanium diodes. The Overdrive has the classic Level controls for volume adjustment, Bass for bass adjustment (+/- 15 dB at 85 Hz), Treble for treble adjustment (+/- 15 dB at 8800 Hz) and Drive for distortion level adjustment. The highest quality components such as Alpha-Pots potentiometers, Neutrik jack connectors or the GØRVA design footswitch with a service life of 30,000 switchings were used to build the overdriver. Overdrive can be powered by a 9V battery or an adapter from 9 to 12 V DC, for use with a bass guitar, I recommend powering with 12V. The whole effect is handmade and this also applies to the printed circuit board.
Germanium overdrive is suitable for both guitar and bass.
Compared to the classic B85 audio Germanium Overdrive, the Deluxe version has an improved appearance and a better operational amplifier (chip) located on the printed circuit board.
